Leah has been operating as a hairstylist for 22 years. Leah graduated at the top of her class in 1999 at Career School of Hairstyling and has worked at many Niagara salons in the course of her training. Leah has taken countless advanced training courses in all aspects of hairstyling. In 2006 Leah leased her first salon in Port Colborne on Main Street. In 2009 it was time for a change yet again which took her and her family on a somewhat crazy ride to purchase an old house in the BIA on Clarence Street. Leah has been extremely fortunate to surround herself with extremely talented, hard working young ladies with bright aspirations.
Words cannot express the feelings of love and support I have received from family, friends and my staff. My Dad worked tirelessly in the early renovations at the salon. These are moments I will cherish forever. My husband and children continue to push me everyday to be a “better me”. We have also been blessed with a terrific group of friends who always make me laugh. We have had some changes over the years within the staff but hard work and diligence is always a constant at Leah’s Locks. We all grow and learn everyday. I often find myself humbled when leaving the parking lot after a shift in awe that this “old house” is ours and that people choose to come here for great service with a huge smile. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Stephanie Taylor - Hairstylist
Steph joined Leah’s Locks in 2017 and has been a perfect fit. Steph trained at Cappa School of Hair Styling 2013 where she attained her hairstyling license. She worked in Hamilton for four years growing her knowledge in advanced coloring and cutting.
Steph welcomes all new and existing clients with enthusiasm.

Tabitha Charette - Hairstylist
Tabitha joined Leah's Locks in July 2021 when salons were just starting to reopen. She trained at Cappa School of Hairstyling from September 2020 to June 2021. Tabitha began her apprenticeship almost two weeks after receiving her diploma, showcasing her natural talent. She successfully completed her apprenticeship at Leah's Locks and obtained her full hairstylist license in November 2022. Tabitha has now become a busy hairstylist with a humble and energetic enthusiasm.
